Brantano & Jones

Brantano undertook a search process for a planning system in 2011 and shortlisted four suppliers before selecting Buyerplan. A full scale pilot project was so successful that a group-wide agreement with Dutch parent Macintosh Retail was signed in 2013. The system was then implemented at newly acquired Jones Bootmaker. CEO David Short comments, “The team at Decision Systems have been first class. Their support is excellent and we continue to enjoy a strong working partnership.”

Edinburgh Woollen Mill

EWM started using our WSSI over 20 years ago. More recently, a strategic decision was made to implement a full ERP solution but its planning module was not actively used. As a result EWM decided on a group-wide implementation of the latest Buyerplan version which has provided extended capability and flexibility and has been fully adopted. John Muldoon, Head of Merchandising says, “New Buyerplan is working a treat!!”


George Davies, founder of Next, George and Per Una, now has his fourth success FG4, with over 100 stores in the Middle East. FG4 have relied on Buyerplan to support their product development from concept to contract and to provide the means to analyse performance in innovative ways to maximise the effectiveness of their trading. Peacocks is a UK value fashion retailer with over 500 stores and a wide product portfolio of 40 departments managed by 25 merchandisers. Buyerplan has been implemented very successfully to replace an ageing incumbent system. A number of new facilities were developed that have now been added for the benefit of other clients.
