| One of the challenges of operating a successful franchising operation in a fast-fashion environment is to offer the collections to the franchisees and obtain their orders quickly enough to prevent delay in placing supplier contracts for the main range or, worse, having to request relatively small additional quantities for franchise after the main production has been completed.
This problem has been solved by the new Franchise Interaction system that has recently gone live. This facility combines a special version of Range Buyer (“Franchise Range Buyer”) that is automatically updated from the main range but allows the franchise team to select which styles to offer to which franchisees and combine them into Outfits for optimum display effect.
These outfits are published within collections over the Internet and provide sufficiently good visual information to replace printed catalogues, that are visually attractive but expensive and time-consuming to produce, without complaint and indeed to praise from recipient franchisees.
Once the orders are received they can be accepted or rejected and then analysed in many ways by the merchandisers to feed back improvements for future collections. |
