| Although Austin Reed are longstanding clients of Decision Systems and users of Buyerplan Merchandise Planner for WSSI that hasn’t meant we have been able to take things for granted. The system has continued to be used as the merchandising teams have changed management and personnel and has been adopted enthusiastically by new merchandisers previously steeped in the use of spreadsheets for this task. Buyerplan is now the main source of information supporting Monday Trading meetings chaired by Chief Executive Nick Hollingworth.
Range Reviewer is used to analyse seasonal performance. The reports provided by this Buyerplan module have saved time previously spent populating and manipulating spreadsheets for attribute analysis.
The success of the system in the AR part of the Austin Reed Group has lead to the decision to adopt the system by the CC team to replace the Monday manual updating of spreadsheet-based ‘WSSI’s with the automated updating provided by Buyerplan.
