Leading Irish retailer Dunnes Stores are completing a pilot with Decision Systems Buyerplan system for their Ladieswear business. Although just part of the Apparel and Homeware offer this is a very significantly sized business run by over 30 buyers and merchandisers all using the DSL system. The users are very enthusiastic and propound the benefits they obtain compared to the previously used spreadsheet-based planning tools.

CC, formerly Country Casuals are new users of the Buyerplan Merchandise Planner module, which has been taken to replace the manually intensive spreadsheet WSSI. A key driver was the amount of data input required previously on Monday mornings to prepare for trading meetings. Specific views have been developed to deliver the data required for those meetings and plans are updated with actuals without any user intervention.
